Mathematics: The overall difficulty level of the questions was easy to moderate. There was only one question that was difficult. Around 15 of the 20 questions were answerable. It is observed in the key of version A of the question paper , that the key for two questions were not correct. There are

two answers for Q71, the triangle formed by the given three points is an isosceles, right angled triangle. And the key for question no. 75 was wrong. The answer is 3/10 but it was given as 2/7.

English: Out of the 10 questions in English, seven questions were based on vocabulary and the remaining questions were based on grammar. The difficulty level of the questions was easy to moderate. A student with average knowledge in English can answer at least seven of the ten.

Reasoning: The number of questions in this section was increased to 15 from 3 (seen in the previous paper). Student with average preparation would be able to correctly answer 10 to 11 questions. Most of the questions seem to test the general intelligence of the candidate.

General Knowledge: The number of questions in this section was increased to 17 from 11 in the PGCET 2013. Questions were picked up from the areas of Science and Technology, Polity, Economy, Culture etc. The key for Q 34 of the A version of the test paper was wrong. Nagarjun Sagar dam is on the river Krishna, which is in the choice B. But in the key it was given as choice C – river Tungabhadra. On an average, a student can answer 12 to 13 questions correctly.

Computers: Totally 18 questions were given. Questions which were based on 'Memory' were difficult to answer. Questions based on Input-Output devices and Binary Logic are easy to moderate. On an average, a student can answer upto 14 questions.

A student who had taken coaching at T.I.M.E. would have greatly benefitted since all these topics are taught in the class rooms.
