Bhavans Varuna Vidyalaya had lost the
title of Cochin City Winners to Jyothi Nivas, Aluva. But they more than made up
for that by wining the Regional Finals with a margin of 14 points.
St. Thomas Trivandrum and Navajyothi,
Kozhikode was tied for the third position after the finals. Three rounds of
tie-breakers could not diffuse the tie as both teams were too overwhelmed by
the occasion to hit the buzzer. So the Quiz Master Mr. Ajay Antony had to
resort the final option – a coin toss. St. Thomas called correctly secured the
third position.
