T.I.M.E. offers comprehensive classroom training programme to prepare students for the CPT (Common Proficiency Test) conducted by the ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India).
Chartered Accountancy course involves three stages, namely CPT, IPCC and Finals.
T.I.M.E. offers coaching for the CPT course only.
Process to become a Chartered Accountant.
A student who has passed 10th examination can register for CPT.
A registered student may appear in Common Proficiency Test after he has appeared in the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 examination)
Pass CPT examination.
Register/Enroll for Integrated Professional Competence Course(IPCC).
Complete 9 months of Study Course.
Complete 100 hours of Information Technology Training (ITT).
Complete Orientation Course (35 hours spread over one week).
Pass Group I or both Groups of Integrated Professional Competence Examination (IPCE).
Register as Articled Assistant for a period of 3 years.
Pass Group II of IPCC if not already passed.
Appear in Final Examination during last 6 months of 3 years of articled training.
Pass both the Groups of Final examination.
Get Final Examination Certificate.
Complete remaining period of articled training, if applicable.
Complete Course on General Management and Communication Skills.
Enroll as a member of ICAI and designate as “Chartered Accountant.
COMMON PROFICIENY TEST
The CPT consists of four papers. The details are as under:
Session I (Two Sections, Two Hours, 100 Marks) Section A: Fundamentals of Accounting (60 Questions, 60 Marks)
Section B: Mercantile Laws (40 questions, 40 Marks)
