T.I.M.E. provided Ernst & Young with a
list of its students who had received final selection offers from the IIMs. This list was
arrived at after a thorough check by T.I.M.E.’s own
internal team.
The team from Ernst & Young then followed the following steps to validate the results.
The enrolment record at T.I.M.E. of these
selected students was thoroughly checked (by verifying the enrolment forms of these students).
Ernst & Young thus validated that all these
were bonafide T.I.M.E. students.
The data given to them was entered on the results pages of the websites of the respective IIMs to
check the authenticity. This ensured the genuineness of all final selections claimed for each student.
A scientific random sample was generated from the overall list of results provided to them by
T.I.M.E., and students in this random sample
were called by Ernst & Young to verify their enrolment at
T.I.M.E.
and the final selections that they had secured.
