ISAT - the newest among the Engineering Entrance exams in the country was conducted
on the 16th April, 2010. ISAT 2010 comprised of two papers with paper
1 from 10.00 - 12.00 hrs and paper 2 from 14.00 to 16.00 hrs. As per expert opinion
and as per student feedback ISAT 2010 was comparable to AIEEE.
There were four versions - A, B, C and D. The order of subjects in both papers was
the same - Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. There were a total of 40 questions
in each paper but the distribution of questions across subjects was not the same.

Each question carried three marks with (- 1) for a wrong response. All questions
had four choices each with only one correct answer. Total marks per paper was 120.
There were comprehension based questions in Physics in both papers. But all the
other questions across subjects were of the regular multiple choice type.
