Analytical Reasoning & Decision Making
The Analytical & Decision Making section was another section which demanded a lot of time and
preparation from the students.
Additional time available (if any considering the massive Q& DI section) should
be allotted to this section. The puzzles on Harischandra club and Cozy travels
were the most difficult ones, while the others were not easy either. The
Harischandra club question needed multiple iterations and those who got stuck on
this would have wasted a lot of time with no positive outcome.
The DM set on Chetan Textile mills was on the moderate side and the students would have done
well to solve this set. The Puzzle on Alex and Co. was also on similar lines.
The fact that there were no easy pickings across the section is what would have hurt the
chances of many students who were counting on such questions to make it through.
This would mean that the cut offs in this section also will be on the lower side.
The cut-off is expected to be around 13-14.
