The Vizag Edition of Aqua Regia 2007 was held on Nov 13th at Kalabharathi Auditorium in Vizag. A total of 2620 teams (5140 students) participated in the schools prelims out of which 230 teams (430 students) were selected for the city finals. The finals were represented by teams from far off towns of Rajamundry, Kakinada and Bhimavaram. The preliminary round was the regular 25 question audio video. Top Six teams were selected for the on stage finals. The teams to qualify was Kotak Salasian, two teams from De Paul, visakha valley school, Presidency school and Nalanda talent school. The rounds saw various teams emerging ahead but in the 4th round of random variable Kotak Salasian scored 50 points out of the possible 60 points, thereby establishing a clear lead. They maintained the lead till the last round. In the last round they resisted a very aggressive Depauls School and finally the team from Kotak Salasian represented by M Shameer and MM Abbas came on top with their aggressive approach.
