Mumbai City Finals

T.I.M.E. holds the current record for the Largest Single Venue Quiz in India – certified by the LIMCA Book of Records. This was set in 2006. With the Mumbai City Finals of Aqua Regia – The Science Quiz, T.I.M.E. eclipsed its own record. A massive 1065 teams of two contestants each (2130 students from 8th, 9th and 10^th Std) competed in the city finals held at Shanmughananda Auditorium, Dadar. These 1065 teams were selected from 13516 teams (27032 students) who competed in the School level Preliminary Rounds in Mumbai and suburbs. The Assistant Editor of LIMCA Book of Records, Ms. Amreen Toor was present during the occasion.

After the First Round, the following six teams were selected for the on-stage finals.

After 75 minutes of on-stage quizzing, the team from SS Singhania School, represented by Pranav Shetty and Sourabh Subramaniam won the first position and qualified for the Mumbai Regional Finals.

Dr.Bijendra Kumar, Regional Director (W) of National Test House gave away the prizes for the 3rd to 6^th position.

Mr.Harsha Bhogle, gave away the prizes for the first and second place winners. Mr. Harsha Bhogle, himself a Quiz Master of national repute was in full praise for the concept of Bidding Rounds introduced by T.I.M.E.
