Aqua Regia - The Science Quiz 2019
The National Final of the 2019 Edition of 'Aqua Regia - The Science Quiz' took place in Hyderabad on 17 September 2019.
The 2019 National Final featured teams from Bengaluru (winner of Bengaluru Region), Coimbatore (Trichy Region), Jaipur (Delhi Region), Kolkata (Kolkata Region), Mumbai (Mumbai Region), Trivandrum (Cochin Region), and two teams from Hyderabad.
The National Final of Aqua Regia 2019 was won by the all-girls team of Drishya Sudeep and Navya Singh of Army Public School, Hyderabad; they narrowly beat the all-boys team from Bharati Matric School, Coimbatore - just 6 points separated the top two teams!
There was a three-way tie between Jaipur, Kolkata, and Mumbai for the third place; the boys from DPS Kolkata held their nerve and won the third place on the buzzer.
The final tense moments can best be summed up in Ravi Shastri's famous line - 'it is going down to the wire'. Here's a listing of the Top Three Teams.
