IBPS CWE - RRB (Officers & Office Assistants) result out

IBPS has announced the result of the CWEs for Regional Rural Banks (Office Assistants & Officers ) that were held in Sep2012.

IBPS had conducted two CWEs in Sep2012 for recruitment of personnel to 82 Regional Rural Banks in the country. One CWE was conducted on 2ndSep2012 for recruitment of Officers (Scale -I, II and III) and another CWE on 9thSep2012 for recruitment of Office Assistants (Multipurpose). In the month of September itself it was officially announced that the results of the RRB CWEs will be released in October.

About 5.45 lakh candidates have appeared for the first ever IBPS CWE for PO recruitment into the Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). About 7.38 lakh candidates have registered for the Clerical exam that was conducted on 9thSep2012.

IBPS Director Anup Sankar Bhattacharya, in a press statement released earlier, said that the 82 RRBs will recruit about 10000 people this financial year. The interviews will be conducted by RRBs in the month of December. The final stage of recruitment will start in January next year.

As per the report published in a leading daily, the RRBs, with a network of 16000+ branches, have recruited about 4000 officers and 5500 clerks in 2011-12. With the RRBs plannig to expand the business network on a large scale in rural areas, they will definitely be on a hiring spree. But the number of vacancies may not be as high as compared to that of the Public Sector Banks.

As of now, only the status (qualified or not) of the result, for both RRB -Officers and RRB - Office Assistants can be known. The scores will be uploaded on the IBPS web site after 15 days.

Given below are the snap shots of the result status of successful candidates as viewed on the IBPS website when the candidates log in ( Roll no. / Reg No. & Password / DOB) to check the status of their result.
