aj: sir, in AIMCATs they repeat the same type of Q's as in the material. Dont this spoil the point of taking an MOCK CAT.. Because this rarely happens in CAT.. and u have to come up with ideas then n there.. dont the student lose his ability to come up with ideas if same type Q's r repeated.
sai: There is no repetition of Qs in AIMCATs. The Qs types are finite in number and we give Qs from those finite topics. Try to clear the cutoffs in Qa and the other areas and dont generalise about what CAT tests students on.

sai: We are not preparing you for the AIMCATs. The SMs, classes and AIMCATs together prepare you for CAT. The topics will be covered in a phased manner and certainly all basics will be covered by end September if you have joined in one of the early batches.

kk: undertand that you don't need to do a lot of qns to get a decent percentage. For example in CAT 2008, 24 marks out of 100 marks in QA meant 83 percentile. So, when you take an AIM CAT, never get psyched by the number of qns/number of qns that you don't know.

ss: Please suggest some reference books for practicing problems. Also, what is likely to be the changes in an online test as compared to written?
sai: Not many changes except for the mode of testing. Trishna series on Quantitative is a good book.

sai: Analyse the AIMCAT and see where you went wrong and correct those mistakes. Dont worry too much about scores on an AIMCAT and focus on learning something new with each AIMCAT
