Last minute tips for IIFT!
(Chat Transcript)

513: What shud be the ideal time allocation strategy for iift, if there r sectional cutoffs? What type of questions to choose and wat type to b avoided?
sai: If the paper has 6 sections like last year then one should spend around 20-25 min max on one section and around 10-15 min on GK. Qs are to be chosen based on one's comfort level. IIFT has sectional cutoffs though nothing of this sort was mentioned on the paper last year.

impostor: Sir what are the three key things that we should keep in mind while attempting tomorrows paper?
kranthi: accuracy time alertness.

vijay007: Hi.Plz answer my question. If all sections contain subsections which was the case in IIFT 2007,should we clear cutoff in each subsection?
sai: Sections alone matter and not the sub-sections within a section.

513: The rcs in iift seem lengthy n the questions r time consuming too. should they be attemptd or well left? How to tackle them?
kranthi: allocate around 15 minutes time if the pattern is same as last year and do ur best in that time.

impostor: What would be safer?trying to clear cutoff or attempting as many as possible in an easy section ?
sai: Clear cutoffs in all sections

vijay007: Some say that there are sectional cutoffs for every section, while some say we shld make sure we dont score negative marks in any section as long as we get a good overall score. Is there any sectional cutoffs?
kranthi: the time allotted to each section wiill vary between 15 to 25 minutes depending on the weightage if last year pattern is any thing to go by.attempt easy questions in all sections.cutoffs may vary between 3 to 7 marks in each section depending on difficulty.refer to our iift 2008 analysis on the website.

vkd: where to study gk from?
sai: Nop specific place. read the TIME mags, newspapers and concentrate on Eco particularly

impostor: What can be the ideal attempts for IIFT paper?
kranthi: normally the netscore will vary from 26 to 30.that should be the minimum score whatever be the number of attempts.

vijay007: What should be the ideal time split-up for a six section paper like IIFT 2008?
kranthi: a detailed suggestion regarding the same is available on time website under test patterns.would like u to download that info.

iift: sir,I see in Time mock iifts there are 5 sections..., Do I need to clear every section cutoff to get a call? I heard that IIFT is going to open in hyd..is that true? if so wat wud be the cutoff required for it. Pls tell the approx. cutoffs required for iift del, iift kol
sai: Yes. One needs to clear cutoffs in all sections. In Hyderabad I havent heard of that. Delhi cutoff last year was around 31 and Kolkata was around 26 but theat was for last year and this eyar it might well be different.

513: Should more or less(safe) questions be attempted in GK?
kranthi: attempt all the easy questions in every section.

vijay007: Is there any possibility that IIFT sets a multiple answers correct paper as was the case in IIFT 2006?
sai: Quite possible!

vijay007: What should be done if we get a paper like IIFT 2006 with multiple answer options.Should we maximise the score by attendind more questions from areas of strength?
sai: One should go for accuracy in such a paper as making mistakes is quite easy.

ksm: Sir, Will there be sectional cut off ? If yes, then How many questions should we try to attempt for each section?
sai: There will be sectional cutoffs. Attempts depend on accuracy and the difficulty level of the section. There is nothing like a safe number of attempts on account of the very stiff competition for IIFT

crackiift: Good evening sirs..Are there any sectional cutoffs? there is a lot of confusion regarding this..because no sectional cutoffs means we can score more in strong areas and maintain a positive score in other sections..kindly clarify
sai: There are sectional cutoffs.

saswat195: sir i would like to know how to approach the exam-sectional focus or overall focus?
sai: Both

ram: sir what were d cutoffs for iift-d and iift-k
sai: Last year it was around 30-31 for Delhi and around 25-26 for Kolkata

tb: IS THERE CUTTOFF IN IIFT PAPER? HOW TO ATTEMPT GK PORTION..
sai: Yes. In GK accuracy should be focussed on as mindless attempts will give one a negative score.

sudhir: Best Of luck To All
sai: Same to You!

iift: whats the best way for answering RCs?? questions first and find or read entire para like we do in cat ??? ( i am asking this bcoz of the length of rcs in iift )
kk: yes, Rc passages tend to be lengthy. Infrence based questions can be answswered only by reading the passage

amrita: sir what should be the strategy for the exam tomorrow??time split nd also number of questions to be attempted ?
kranthi: answered.refer to chat transcript.

saurabhg: Can you tell us the lowest score that got a call in General category last year?
sai: Not disclosed by IIFT but we estimate it was around 30-31 marks for IIFT-Delhi and 25-26 for Kolkata

j: Expected cutoff for IIFT Kolkata?
sai: That will depend on the Difficulty level of the paper. Cant be predicted now.

aditi: how many have taken the IIFT on an average, for last few years...any idea sirs?
sai: I expect it to be around 40K

taps: Sir, Will there be sectional cut off ? If yes, then How many questions should we try to attempt for each section?
sai: Already Answered. Read the transcripts.

nidhi: should i attempt as much as possible question as marks per question is less and it will reward me less negative.
sai: Seems to be a good idea but then if you have lots of mistakes then the overall is going to be a negative score in sections.

om: sir,how many questions approx.should be attempted tomorrow in the di section for cut off?
sai: Depends on the Difficulty level of the paper and the number of Qs in that section.

manish_alw: In IIFT do they hav sectional Cut-offs or there is overall cut offs. wht should be the rit strategy for this paper.
sai: Already Answered. Read the transcripts.

x: sir, which would be the high scoring sections in iift?
kranthi: whichever section is relarively easy for you .

j: I m havin 2.5 yr of work ex so is it worth going to IIFT kolkata and expected avg salary?
sai: Yes. Avg salary depends on how you do in the 2 yr course and the general economic situation when you graduate. generally it is around 6-7 lacs

ram: sir,can you provide a proper strategy if d paper turned out to b a multiple answer question(2006)pattern?
sai: Go for accuracy over speed

j: Sectional cutoff is considered in IIFT kolkata or not??
sai: YES it is there

ram: how is iift kolkata?
sai: Good

sohini: Sir my query is about GK but certainly not for IIFT...!!! For SNAP. i went thru the magazines these few months nothng else. will revision of that suffice?
kranthi: please read news papers regularly..supplement that with magazine omets gats questions on website.

x: what should be the accuracy to get a call from iift delhi?
sai: 50-60% attempts with 75% accuracy was good enough last year

ksm: Sir, how much overall marks should we aim to get a call from Kolkata campus for SC category ?
sai: Cutoffs depend on the difficulty level of the paper and the performance of others taking the test. Cant be predicted now.

manish: Hi sir.....Is it possible that IIFT can give LR questions from prev year CAT papers as they did last year?
sai: Quite possible in which case you will have an advantage as you have done the previous year CAT papers.

iift: In OMET 1012 i have seen that we have subsections like part a and part b in section B,C,D.. so is it required to clear cutoffs in each and every sub section or they look at only overall section score?
sai: Sectional cutoffs only. NO Sub-Sectional cutoffs are there.

nitin: Sir it is confirm that multiple answer questions will not be there?
sai: Not confirmed. Wait for the paper tomorrow.

susu: is there sectional cut off for each section...
sai: YES

deeptarup: sir what is the cutoff in iift?
sai: Already Answered. Read the transcripts.

sandy17: Sir, how many question one should aim to attempt, i mean which can carry good chances??
sai: Depends on difficulty level of the exam. Cant be predicted upfront.

paharidude: i got 90 percentile in aimiift. but not cleared cutoff in all sections. what are my chances
sai: You have to clear cutoff in each section.

siddharth: What should be our basic strategy?
kranthi: to spot and solve easy QUESTIONS in ALL sections.

wish: What kind of questions will b thr from Higher maths ?
sai: Look at the IIFt papers given by TIME to its students.

vkd: if the paper has 4 choices and 1/4 th negative marks shld i go for guessing(like all b) my unanswered ques. it will yiels +ve marks probability wise do u suggest doing so?
sai: Not a good idea.

uts: if there wud b sectional cut-offs...hw mch we need in each section to be on the safer side?and wat shud b the cut-offs for gk??
sai: For the Zillionth time - There are Sectional Cutoffs in all sections for IIFT.

rajeshp: Hi sir Good evening, I am appearing IIFT exam for the 1st time so i would like to know what the percentage of correct answers should be?
sai: That depends on the difficulty level of the paper given tomorrow.

upendra.sachan: section cutoff may be not appicable in this time.is it possible or not,,it will be included on qustion paper or not..?
sai: Wait for the instructions on the paper tomorrow. Unless it says that there are NO sectional cutoffs you are not to assume that sectional cutoffs arent there.

abc: is there strict sec cutoff in gK or non negative score will do?
sai: there is a cutoff in GK too. Avoid a negative score in the section.

nidhi: sir any special tip for 2moro...
sai: maximise attempts and go for speed

abhi123: WILL DRE B SECTIONAL CUT OFF?
sai: YES

sunny: sir, if the exam comes similar to iift 2006.then what should be the strategy, to maximise no. of attempys or to focus on 100% accuracy?what was the overall cuttoff in iift 2006? was there any sectional cuttoff in 06?(sir sorry for asking so many questions)
sai: Past years cutoffs have NO bearing on tomorrows test. please bear in mind that this is a relative exam i.e. you need to do better than the others which means that if everyone gets 60 out of 100 you need to get 61 and if everyone gets 15 in the exam then you should get 16

rocky: sir what will be an ideal attempts in various sections of IIFT exam(considering the pattern of paper like 2008)?
sai: Analysis is given on http://www.time4education.com/testpatterns1.asp?cid=1 of IIFT2008. Please check it for the asnwer to this Qs

x: which topics in gk does the paper focus on?
kranthi: polity science &technology geography with emphasis onECONOMY.

neil: sir in aim iift i had scored 89 %ile.. what are my chances? atleast for iift k?
sai: Decent chances

abc: sir is there sectional cut off?
sai: Already Answered. Read the transcripts.

manish_alw: Do GK section have Cut-off???
sai: YES

aviste: sir should we carry any photo identities to the exam?
sai: Not required

vipul: is iift kolkata as good as the delhi centre??
kk: Delhi centre is rated higher. That is the parent centre

swati: Sir, what should be the minimum number of attempts according to u..?
sai: At least 60% of the Qs

mr1234: Sectional cut off's will be specifically mentioned in the paper? If not , can i assume that they are not there and Answer only my fav section to clear the overall cut off ?
kk: It willnot be explicitly stated in the paper. Keep sectional cut offs in mind when you do the paper

ankita jhawar: sir, i dont know wat to do now...leave studying or study more..i hav gone thru all the imp formaulas etc...but still kind of scared
kk: Now, it is time to relax. This is not a university exam where last minute cramming up helps. You have done your part. Now, take it cool and do your best

kiran: will the marks in GK,also be considered incase of overall cut off?
kranthi: in all likelihood yes.

manish_alw: some time there is section and sub section. is it possible to have sub-sectional cutoffs???
sai: There will NOT be any sub-sectional cutoffs only cutoffs for the SECTION

aviste: sir are the cut-offs are less for OBC students?
sai: YES

adi: i get so much engrosed in rcs that m left with less time for quant and DI..how shud i manage it???
kk: The answer lies in the question itself. Don't fall in love with a passage. Spend reasonable amount of time on a set and move on

abc: shld DI sec which is cal intensive with more marks per right question be attempted or a sectn with lesser marks with less time taking
sai: You have to clear DI cutoff hence qs have to be attempted.

a: wat if we do not clear th e gk cut off??
kranthi: u may not be shortlisted.

susu: sir wht if we got overall good score...n very bad in some of d portion???
kranthi: bad for u.

jungle: sir, how does one approach the DI section in light of tdious calculation?
kranthi: estimate wherever possible instead of calculation.know when to let go.choose questions carefully. do the rough work neatly.

avj: wat was the total cut off for last year IIFT Delhi ?? wat was the cutoff for each section?
sai: Already Answered. Read the transcripts.

x: how would u rate iift kolkatta?
sai: Good institute

raghav: what are the topics one should focus more on for qa in iift?
kranthi: nothing like important in quant.ALL are equally important.in a particular year in the past there were 10 plus questions on a topic like indices surds which is branded as unimportant.note.

manish : Are you sure that IIFT had sectional cutoff last year ? Nothing was mentioned in the paper
kranthi: if u assume they were not there it would be at your own risk.answer easy questions in ALL sections.

iift guy: What was the cutoff last year for delhi and kolkata centre respectively?
sai: Already Answered. Read the transcripts.

little: is there sectional cut off each section or part of the section
kranthi: yes.

inquisitor: what should be time strtegy for IIFT?
sai: Already Answered. Read the transcripts.

baddam: for GK ive studied my home page material and magazines z dat enough???
kranthi: that should translate into action.

abhi123: SIR, ofcourse u r expecting sectional cut off.... bt no 1 is really sure, some other institute hv told dre students dt dre wnt b ne....dnt u thnk that it cn hv a deciding role in students being selected if iift chose or not choose to hv sectional cut off. how to tackle ds ambiguity?
sai: When there is uncertainty one should play it safe and not take a risk like assuming that there are NO cutoffs. FYI - Last year there was one candidate who got 35 marks who did not get a call whereas one with a score of 31.XX got a call from IIFT. Both belonged to the Gen category and this could have happened only if there were sectional cutoffs. Hope this clarifies your doubt.

king89: how many q.can i do to get call from iift
kk: That would depend on the pattern of the paper, the levl of difficulty and the quality of the competition. The pattern of the IIFT papers for the last 3 years were different

j: is getting a zero is also sufficient for clearing the cut offs?any idea about last year....
sai: Avoid a Zero or a negative score to be on the safe side.

siddharth: how many questions should we attempt per section?
kranthi: depends on the level of difficulty.be flexible and make intelligent adjustments whenever needed.

king89: helloooooooooooo
kk: helloooooooooooooooo........Have answered your question

ab: there are two sections of rc...which one shud we go for?
kk: In case you find Rc in two sections say laong with RC and VA, keep in mind that IIFT looks for sectional cut offs and not item wise cut off within a section. So, do the passages which you are comfortable with irespective of which section they are in

sen: Rumours are spreading like IIFT exam questions will be much more difficulty than CAT? Is it true...
kk: They are rumours....Keep in mind that you are talking about relative performance whether the paper is tough or easy. An very easy paper would be very easy for every body. So, ultimately, does it make a difference ?

mr1234: I spoke to an IIFT delhi guy an hour back.He said he got 0 in GK last year. and your saying there are sectional cut off's? Do you actually Know that there are sectional cut offs or u are just assuming them to be Sir?
sai: Did you speak to ALL IIFT guys in New Delhi and Kolkata? Did IIFT New Delhi issue that clarification. Last year the cutoffs in GK were very low but there were cutoffs. Please remember that if there are cutoffs in every section and you have ignored one or more sections based on 'rumours' then only you will suffer.

rocky: what should be the ideal no of attempts(no of questions )in each section considering last year paper?
sai: Around 50% attempts would be quite good.

ksm: i now understand that there will be sectional cut off as you told us. But there are sub sections also .. so are there any cut off for those sub sections also ?
kk: No

123654789: was there any sectional cut off last time in iift? my strong sections are QA and LR.DI in this is calculation intensive.. RC are long... VA i am not sure weder i wil do correct or not.. gk will try to clear the cutoff.so wat sud be my overall approcah for the paper?
sai: Already Answered. Read the transcripts.

abc: sir, what shud we revise at this point of time?
sai: No more revision. Watch a movie and relax and keep fresh for the exam

abhi123: sir, IIM test candidates aptitude by testing him or her in 3 sections....what does iift wana c by giving a 2 hr paper wd 6 questions wd lots of ambiguities ?
kranthi: focus on doing well in the exam tommorow.

vikram: Can u guess the cut off for the GK last year
kk: 30 qns, 0.3 marks each. So, 9 marks worth of qns. The cut offs could be in the range of 1 to 2

inquisitor: if there is not any declaration about sectional cut off, what should one assume?
kranthi: assume that they are there.

pushkar: can you please tell me last year's section cutoff? It will give some idea of cutoff. Was it around like 10% or 20% or something like that
kranthi: roughly 20 percent on an average .in some sections like quant less than that.

x: which are the gk topics we shud focus on?
kranthi: answered.refer chat transcript.

jay: HELLO SIR.....LAST YEAR'S QUANT SEC WAS ALMOST UNDOABLE WITHIN THE TIME CONSTRAINT....IF TAT TENDENCY REPEATS TIS YEAR ALSO...WAT SHUD BE THE MINIMUM NO. OF Qs TAT SHUD BE ATTEMPTED WID ACCURACY TO CLEAR THE CUT OFFS????THANX...
kk: The overall cut off last year was around 31. That meant that while QA was tough, it was tough for every one. So, where is the issue of trying all the questions in QA?

mr1234: I spoke to an IIFT delhi guy an hour back.He said he got 0 in GK last year. and your saying there are sectional cut off's? Do you actually Know that there are sectional cut offs or u are just assuming them to be Sir?
kranthi: we have given our advice.decide on the course of action at ur own risk.

karthe: will the answer key be posted here(in this website) after tomorrow's exam?
sai: The analysis will be up tomorrow. Key and solutions will be put up by Tuesday provided IIFT released the paper tomorrow.

siddharth: How many questions should be attempted in the first one hour?
sai: As many as in the 2nd hour! Depends on the difficulty level of the paper. Dont go with a preset fixed number of attempts.

lavanya: how will you rate the level of difficulty of IIFT in general compared to CAT,XAT and JMET?
kk: The IIFT papers of 2008 and 2007 were much more balanced as compared to a very tough paper of 2006 (which probably was one of the toughest MBA entrance exams of this decade)

mayank: is there any cutoff for each of section of iift ??
kk: hello.. wake up.. that is waht we have been saying all along

karthe: wat all the things are covered in gk section?......is knowledge on international business and indian business is enough to clear the cut off?
kk: Eco and business awareness would help. At the same time, there are questions in GK, current affairs, sports, awards, history, geography, science

nrmstar: Is IIFT Quant at same level as that of CAT or its bit easy? Also LR and DI are two seperate sections rt??
kranthi: lr di separate.u many not get in any respite in quant.

karun: sir were der ny sectional cutoff last year ...i hv heard tat securing just 0 marks in DI section someone got at IIFT DELHI...pls gv some suggestion..
sai: Already Answered. Read the transcripts.

siddharth: IF we get a score of around 27 then hich iift do we have a chance for?
sai: That will depend on the cutoff this year. if the cutoffs are 35 and you get 26 then you get no calls but if ypu get 26 and cutoffs are 21 then you get calls. Cutoffs vary from year to year.

cool: Sir, IIFT 2008 was a difficult paper when compared to previous papers, what do you think about this years difficulty level ?
sai: prediction: It will be similar to IIFT2008 - which means that it will be difficult.

guru: regarding the quants will times materials do
kranthi: yes.

payal: i always bcom more anxious and nervous b4 evry exam...i may not get good sleep...wat to do to lessen my anxiety?
kranthi: meditate.

guru: sir my english is good will that give me an edge
kranthi: hope for the best.meet the cutoff criteria in all sections.

little: do gk section have negative mark
kk: Last year, negative mark was 1/4th the allotted mark for a question

ksm: Sir, in iift, are we allowed to keep the question paper after exam ? or the question paper is taken back ?
kk: Last few years, the test takers were given the paper

bala: I have seen some model paper of IIFT given by TIME, There are some questions which has to be filled with multiple answers for a single question, Can u pls eloberate on it?
sai: This was based on what happened in IIFT2006

charu: can we bring the question paper home??
sai: Last year you could do so.

winnertakesall: Will I be slected sir?
sai: YES

anu19: IS THE PREPARATION FOR CAT HELPFUL FOR IIFT AS WELL IN TERMS OF DIFFICULTY
kk: Yes, since IIFT is known to repeat some of the earlier CAT patterns

ra-i: I got 32 percentile in AIM IIFT, even though i manage AIMCATS sort of OK. Can I make it through tommorow?
kk: Go with confidence and do your best. Best wishes

nickname: sir i want to let others know tht sec cut-off is there coz last yr i attempted IIFT...got around29 but i only attepted 4 sections..i did not get call from kolkata but i have seen people with 27 getting call
kk: Thanks nickname. This should help others on this forum. Best wishes for this year

veena: sir what should i revise now?
kk: No more studies. Chill out...

karun: sir wll tat be a multi answr type like 2006 or a single answr type like last couple of years..??
kk: Your guess is as good as mine. However, I feel that chances of repeating the 2006 experiment are low

pushkar: I have a question. Was the difficulty level AIMIIFT was more than IIFT 2008 paper or less than 2009 Paper ?
sai: Equal to 2008 paper

sniper: Sir, usually is the Delhi cutoff 30% and Kolkota cutoff 26% approxly ?
sai: Not usually but only last year

cool: What is the target range of Agni- II misile ?
sai: 2500-3500 Km

charu: what all should we take to the centre..??ny document, proof reqd..??
sai: It is given on the Admit card

guru: will we be given time to fill the formalities before exam starts
kranthi: yes.

anu19: WHAT CAN BE D BEST POSSIBLE STRATEGY AT THE NINTH HOUR?
sai: Best strategy is to close chat window and watch a movie on HBO!

shrcht: sir, for iift i am confident about the qa and di section(i scored good while doing the past 3 years paper of iift) but i am pretty weak in va. what should be the strategy to maximise my score as well as clear the va cut off? how many questions should be attempted correctly in each section to clear iift?
kk: Since VA section is tough, be careful while attempting va questions. Don't try to guess.

rahul: Sir, is there a separate cut - off for Rc section or can we skip Rcs
kranthi: yes.DO NOT skip any section.

anks.kanojia: sir, on an avg. hw much is the difference between general and SC cutoffs.
sai: Should be 60% of gen cutoffs

nick: How many sections can we expect for tomorrow's paper? last year dere wer 6...
sai: 3-6.....Anything is possible

manish: Hi sir...when we can have the analysis and answer key of this exam on TIME's site
sai: Already Answered. Read the transcripts.

abc: sir, at this point should i see the iift mocks given by time or the 2007 n 2008 iift papers...pls reply...
sai: Look at all papers as the pattern of tommorrow's paper is not known

krish: i just took an IIFT OMET which was modelled on the 2007 paper with 1/3 -ve. I scored 36.3 in it. is it a good score. can a similar performance get me somewhere tomorrow ??/
kranthi: yes.yes.

nkr: sir, any prediction for 2moros Qn pattern
kk: No predictions after sunset...

karun: okk sir .bt if der wll b multi answer type questions ..den hw to handle dem..i mean it wll b too much tough in VA as well as in DI...plzz help.it wll b wise to answr a huge numbr of questions(60%)..?
kk: In IIFT 2006, the going was very very tough. Many students switched off inside the exam hall. Cut offs were very very low. The way forward in such a case is slow ans steady since obviously attempts will be very low. You will be able to attempt 60% of qns in such a paper

griffin: Sir, Wat is the approx ratio of no. of GDPI calls to the final selections for both Delhi and Kolkatta??
sai: Around 7-8:1

ram: sir,in d website it was mentioned that a identification card is necessary?but u say its not required!
sai: The Admit Card doesnt mention it. Carry it if you want to be doubly sure.

richa: hows iift quant section?? is it difficult??
kranthi: yes.but RELATIVE is the buzzword.

giveme_d_mouse: sir i am not good at english,qa,di.lr and gk..but im good at programming..will i be able to clear iift if i develop s program to solve all questions... also pls tel me the full form of IIFT( if a gk ques like this comes in the xam tomm) ??
sai: Difficult to clear IIFT if you are not good at so many sections. Indian Institute of Foreign Trade

krish: will TIME release the key tomorrow itself ?
sai: No. latest by Tuesday

mohit: I have been reading hindu , india today , frontline since august .how much will it prove useful to me in terms of tackling g.k. section?
sai: very useful. You will see that tomorrow

baggygreen: My apologies for this. This question is for the nickname "winnertakesall"?What sort of a question is this "Will I be slected sir?".Come on.I cant stop laughing.Plz ask a sensible question.
kranthi: thank him for making u feel good.laughter the best stress buster.

griffin: Sir, Wat should be the approx percent of questions one should attempt in each section to be on the bank???
sai: Around 50-60%

saswat195: i would like to know what score in the gk section would be enough since i m not good at gk what should be the approach and no of questions to be attempted?
kk: Have answered that

saludirm: any idea of how many would compete tommrrow?
sai: arnd 35K

richa: what all should be done for GK? i'm just goin through the material prvided on our student homepage...ie who's who of gk...the 2 practice papers & the powerpoint presentation...is that enough??
sai: cant say if it is enough but they are valuable practice papers and have very useful info

nkr: wat is da cut off 4 obc candidate??????
sai: No fixed cutoff. Depends on the kind of paper and marking scheme that it has.

shree: should we attempt multiple choice questions (without negative marks) if they come tomorrow as in the 2006 paper?
kk: If the paper speifically says no negative mark, then go ahead

shb: Is there any cutoff for IIFT in each section?

kk: Any GK material will add value

kudzz: Plz advice what was last years IIFT cutof..and also wat were sectioanl cutoff if any..wat shud be target percentile
sai: Already Answered. Read the transcripts.

sniper: Sir in the application form if we select Delhi campus, will we not be called in case we clear Kolkota cutoffs ?
kk: You will get from Kolkata campus provided you have selected that

shree: do u think it is worth risking accuracy and go faster in tomorrow's paper if it has 150 questions?
sai: If there are more Qs then one can go for attempts than accuracy

mayur: sir analysin iift pprs i found the maths ques to be more formulae based then logical like cat,,,is the assumption true ...if yes then is it goig to be repeated???
sai: quite possible

sniper: Sir in the application form if we select Delhi campus, will we not be called in case we clear Kolkota cutoffs ?
sai: You will be called. The form asks for preference

aritra: Are there any sectional Cut-offs in IIFT?
sai: YES
