Rumours are only rumours. Until the IIMs make any announcement, you should

Remember - You lose nothing by doing well in this test even if it is scrapped.

of that particular paper and slot and it may vary. So you shoud focus on

Ensure 2 things - that you get good rest for 2 nights at least before your test
day; that you reach your venue by 7:30-7:45. When I say venue, I mean the
entrance of the lab where you are slated to write the test. Scout the venue out
the day before to make yourself familiar with the layout - where to park,

for scrapping of the exams by the leading coaching institutes including TIME. I
am sure that if we wait and not create any unnecessary hype they will look into
the matter as problems like extra time, cheating, repeat are some of
the hiccups and issues that would have gone into their thought process when
they were considering the format.

The call for scrapping has nothing to do with normalisation and percentile
schemes. It only means that some students have been heavily disadvantaged in
many ways and there can be no objective process of normalisation that can
factor all these in. Scrapping is, in our opinion, good for all
concerned - students and the B-Schools. However, it is the IIMs that need
to take the call.

Whatever the difficulty level, your approach has to be to read all the

I got far better AIMCAT percentiles when thr paper was easy .So as the reports
go , if the paper is easy what do you suggest would be the ideal num of
attpts , considering an accuracy of 70-75%

attempt. You do not know now what the cut-offs are going to be. So focus on the
basics.

In an easier paper, everyone scores more and vice versa on a tough paper.
So, something as simple as day-by-day percentiles can work. That's just
an example of how it can be made to work. You are, however, better off
not worrying about all this and focusing on what you can and should do.
