These programmes are multi-disciplinary, technological in character and are
designed to meet the requirements of newly emerging professional activities.

B.Pharm. (Hons.):
The Institute's B.Pharm.(Hons.) programme meets the requirements of the
Pharmacy Council of India.
ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO BITS PILANI , GOA AND HYDERABAD

The candidate should have passed the 12th examination of the 10+2 system from a
recognized Central/ State board or its equivalent
-
For admission to all the above programmes the candidate should have passed the
qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects.

For admission to B.Pharm(Hons.) and M.Sc.(Hons.)Biological Sciences the
candidate should have passed the qualifying examination with Physics,
Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics as subjects

Minimum 80% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology
subjects with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and
Mathematics or Biology subjects individually

Candidate should have adequate proficiency in English.

Students who are appearing for 12th examination in the year and who have passed
the examination in previous year are eligible to appear in the BITSATtest.

Students who are presently studying in BITS at any of its campuses are not
eligible to appear in BITSAT test.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Admissions to all the Integrated First
Degree programmes of BITS, Pilani, at Pilani,Goa and Hydrabad campuses are made
on the basis of a Computer based Online Test referred to as ‘BITS Admission
test’, in short as
BITSAT
The Institute admits first rank students of all the Central and State Boards in
India directly to the programme of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT
score. The admissions are made purely on merit basis provided the
candidate obtains the minimum marks in PCM subjects of 12th examination. There
is no separate admission procedure for NRI/Foreign students.
Application procedure
All those who are appearing in
BITSAT have
to separately apply for admission once the advertisement for the courses is
released.
Syllabus
The BITSAT is based on NCERT syllabus for 11th & 12th class.
Nature of BITSAT
BITSAT online test has four parts
Part I : Physics-40 questions
Part II : Chemistry-40 questions
Part III : (a) English Proficiency (15 questions) and (b) Logical Reasoning (10
questions)
Part IV : Mathematics or Biology (45 questions)-Total 150 questions
Students can opt for either Mathematics or Biology in Part IV as per their
subject of study in the 10+2 level.
Questions are of multiple choice type, with four choices and only one correct
answer. Each correct answer fetches 3 marks, while each incorrect answer has a
penalty of 1 mark. The duration is 180 min.

ADMISSION TO BITS PILANI DUBAI
BITS PILANI DUBAI (BPD) was
established in Dubai in the year September 2000. The institute offers
Engineering Programmes (B.E) at the undergraduate level in six different
specializations. All the programmes are of 4 years duration and an Internship
of 7˝ months in reputed industries is included within these 4 years.
Admission to BPD is based entirely on the candidate's merit i.e. the overall
aggregate secured by the candidate in the qualifying examinations and not based
on any entrance tests. Admissions are open to all nationalities.

Qualifying examination and eligibility

The candidate should pass General Secondary Education
Certificate Examination of Ministry of Education, UAE
OR
Senior School Certificate Examination of the Central Board of Secondary
Education (CBSE), New Delhi, India, or its equivalent from any recognized
State, National or International boards.

Candidates must have secured at least 60% overall
aggregate of marks in the Qualifying Examination with Physics, Chemistry and
Mathematics subjects. A minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry &
Mathematics put together is essential.

Candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry and
Biology are eligible to apply, for B.E. (Hons) Biotechnology Programme provided
they have a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry & Biology put
together

Good proficiency in English is essential for
admission.
