DCE and NSIT are among the most reputed and topnotch Quality Technical Educational
Institutions in India. DCE was established in 1941 by the Govt. of India and NSIT,
erstwhile Delhi Institute of Technology, was established in the year 1983 by Delhi
Administration, Govt. of India. Both the institutes offer various B.E. programmes
and the admission to these courses will be done through Combined Entrance Examination
conducted by the Faculty of Technology, University of Delhi.

Note : Admission to 15% seats reserved for the candidates from
Outside Delhi Region (Outside
National Capital Territory of Delhi) will be made on the basis
of All India Merit Rank in All India
Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) to be conducted by CBSE.
Educational qualification and Eligibility:

e aggregate of Physics, Chemistry
and Mathematics with a pass in each subject in 12 year course conducted by CBSE
/ CISCE, or B.Sc (Gen) Group A Final Exam or B.Sc (Honours)Exam of University of
Delhi or any exam recognized equivalent to the SSCE of CBSE by University of Delhi
and from the institute located within the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

For outside Delhi region candidates, 60% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics,
Chemistry and Mathematics with a pass in each subject in 12 year course conducted
by CBSE / CISCE, or B.Sc (Gen) Group A Final Exam or B.Sc (Honours)Exam of University
of Delhi or any exam recognized equivalent to the SSCE of CBSE by University of
Delhi and from the institute located outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

Mandatory : The candidate must have additionally studied English in 10th
std / 12th std level as core or elective.
Examination Pattern of CEE:
CEE will be a objective based exam with four choices. Four marks will be awarded
for correct answers and one marks will be deducted for wrong answers.
CEE is normally conducted during the last week of May every year. The results are
declared after two weeks of CEE.
