amol : I think you are are not eligible for CAT. However to say that i need to see your certificate. Marks on the basis of which class is decided is considered for percentage calculation. There are other exams where 50% criteria is not there, you can apply to that. If you are Reserved cateogary student then you will be eligible.

raghavender : Your preparation should be more qualitative than quantitative. While you are doing great spending a lot of time, you will do well if you're able to analyse your strengths and weaknesses and work accordingly. Prepare a time-table and spend sufficient amt of time of your weak areas everyday and make sure you don't lose grip on you strong areas. Split your time proportionately to prepare for QA, VA, DI, LR and GA.

sonu : how is the woxen bussiness college in terms of placement?it is a new college which has come up in the outskirts of hyderabad...please tell how is the college and what would be the average package if we get placed?
chandrajyoti : We do not recommend any B-School which is not mentioned in T.I.M.E. B-School Categorization (as it in case of the name you mentioned). Please remember one thing - placement depends on the candidate, too.

sridharan : You can do some executive MBA programme. If you cannot afford financially you may have to go for a distance education programme.

viveknair : needed in all companies, it offers decent prospects. you can be involved in recruitment, training and development, compensation and benefits etc.. you will need to be ppl friendly usually. final choice should be based on interest and not the perceived market value etc

ankur : revise all concepts either by joining a coaching or on your own. attempt lot of sectional tests and then polish it up with final touches of a good test series to set a benchmark and to work on your ideal strategy

The first couple of semesters will give you enough exposure to a variety of fields and based on how to take to them, you can choose your specialisation. But, if you rely solely on market demands and not on your aptitude, the choice may be a disaster.

raghavender : I'll take the liberty of answering this question. Sunderland has a decent program, but give the current market scenario in the UK, you will not have a legal status to stay to find jobs in the country after you graduate. Something that nobody wants to be in. So, unless you have a different visa status already, or unless you are confident that you would get an internship and convert it into a job, UK is not preferable.
