asim : Its possible if you perform better on the d day, in my career i have seen few students getting rejected by some of the AA/AAA grade B-Schools but getting selected by the IIMs. Remain optimistic and give it your 100% Best Wishes

asim : You need not apply separately to CET based B-Schools,applying to MAHCET is enough, you need to take MAHCET/CMAT and then attend GD/PI conducted by DTE
