pcr : i'll take that for bharat. What he means by 'keep it simple' is - don't pack too many bits of info, or ideas, into one sentence. One bit per sentence. Then use a connective (consequently, further to this, on the other hand, however, ...and other such....)to provide continuity into the next sentence if there's a connection. This way you'd be clearer, and there would be less chance of errors. There's no standard. As long as the sentences are relatively error free, and deliver clarity, that would be fine

gautam : If you have prepared for CAT then you have covered whatever needs to be done for CET because the basics in Quant and Verbal remain the same. The only thing that is different in CET is that it has Visual Reasoning which is not dealt with in the CAT syllabus. Also the kind of reasoning that appears in CET (Assumptions/Conclusions/Strong Argument/Weak Argument/ Cause & Effect etc) is quite different. These are the areas that you might want to work on.

pcr : the focus of the GMAT is a little different from that of CAT esp. in the VA segment. However, if you've prepared conscientiously for the CAT you can tackle the GMAT with some practice. As for work-ex, the IIMs are still what you could look at, provided you see gain for yourself on passsing out
