Verbal Reasoning Section

Three testing areas:

  1. Text Completion questions (TCQ) test the candidate's ability to interpret, evaluate and reason from what he/she has read. Text Completion questions test this ability by omitting crucial words from short passages, requiring to fill the blanks by selecting words or phrases.

  2. Sentence Equivalence questions (SEQ) test the ability to reach a conclusion about how a sentence should be completed while also focusing on the meaning of the whole sentence.

  3. Reading Comprehension questions (RC) test the ability to comprehend and analyse a passage (short or long).

TCQs tests the candidate's ability to interpret, evaluate and reason from what he/she has read. TCQs test this ability by omitting crucial words from short passages, requiring to fill the blanks by selecting words or phrases. Passage is composed of one to five sentences. The answer choices for different blanks function independently. There is no credit for partially correct answers i.e. not answering all the blanks correctly.
