A few things you should keep in mind before, during and after taking the test:

  1. Before:
    • Take the test with utmost seriousness, be well-prepared. Use this test to benchmark your performance at a national level.
    • Arrive at the test centre well ahead of the scheduled time so that you are in the right frame of mind for taking the test
  2. During:
    • You cannot toggle between the sections, you will have 70 mins for each of them. You cannot use more time for one section and make up for it in the other. So, use your time judiciously.
    • Do not try to outguess the difficulty level of the paper and restrict your number of attempts. The strategy should always be to maximize your score.
    • At the same time, be prudent in choosing your questions as you will be penalized for wrong attempts.
  3. After:
    • Spend time in analyzing your performance. You should be able to recognize your strengths, weaknesses.
    • Spend time in analyzing the solutions provided by us. You would learn how to solve the questions you couldn't attempt in the test and also see how you could have solved the others in a more efficient fashion.
    • Do log on to our website on Monday, 23rd July 2012 at 6.00 pm to participate in the chat session on the AIMCAT 1313. Our team of experts from across the country will be present to answer your queries.
