From 2008 onwards the 10 premier National Law Schools in the country will admit students into their five year BALLB programs through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) to be conducted on the 11th of May 2008. The application form for this examination can be downloaded at www.clat.ac.in

The CLAT to be conducted on the 11th of May 2008 shall be a two-hour, 200-mark objective type paper. There are five test areas viz. English (40 marks), General Knowledge (50 marks), Mathematical Ability (20 marks), Legal Aptitude (40 marks), and Logical Reasoning (50 marks).
