CAT 2023 notification has been released. The examination will be conducted on 26 Nov 2023 (Sunday). Prof. Sanjeet Singh, Professor of IIM Lucknow, is the Convener for CAT 2023.

CAT 2023 will be conducted in around 155 cities. Candidates will be given the option to choose six optional cities. CAT authorities will try their best to ensure that a candidate gets one of the preferred cities as test venue.

The registration fee for the exam will be Rs 1200 for SC/ST/DA applicants and Rs 2400 for others. The application form will be available from 2 Aug till 20 Sep 2023. 

The following information has been provided about the pattern of the examination-

The duration of the test will be 120 minutes. The Test will have the following three sections:

• Section I: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension 
• Section II: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning 
• Section III: Quantitative Ability 

Candidates will be allotted exactly 40 minutes for answering questions in each section. The exact number of questions has not been revealed.
