SBI has announced 2000 PO posts under PO recruitment drive 2023-24. There is no change in the scheme / pattern of the examination as compared to the exam which was held in 2022.

2. Eligibility Criteria :
(a) Age(As on 01.04.2023) - Min 21 years and Max 30 Years (Relaxation for reserved categories as per rules)
(b) Min educational qualification(As on 31.12.2023) : Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent.
Those who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.12.2023
(3) Structure of Examination (ONLINE):
(a) Pattern of Exam:
Phase 1 : .Preliminary Examination (Online Test): The test will have of 3 Sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:

Note 1 : Category wise merit list will be drawn on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in the Preliminary Examination.
Note 2 : Candidates numbering approximately 10 times the number of vacancies in each category will be short listed for the Main Examination from the top of the merit list.
Note 3 : There will be no sectional CutOff.
Phase II : Main Examination (Online Test): This will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online. Candidates will have to answer a Descriptive test by typing on the computer. Immediately after completion of the Objective Test, a Descriptive Test will be administered.
(i) Objective Test: The objective test of 3 hours duration consists of 4 Sections for a total 200 marks.

(a) Each test will have separate timing as mentioned above.
(b) There will be negative marks (Prelim and Main Exams) for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
(c) Sectional Marks will not be maintained for both Preliminary & Main Examinations
(ii) Descriptive Test: The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes duration with two questions for 50 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay).
Selection criteria for Group Exercise and Interview: Category wise merit list will be drawn on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in the Main Examination. There will be no sectional cut-off. Candidates numbering up to 3 times (approximately) of the category wise vacancies will be shortlisted for the Group Exercise & Interview
Psychometric Test: The Bank will conduct Psychometric test for personality profiling, of those candidates who will be shortlisted for Phase-III. Findings of the test may be placed before the Interview panel for having a thorough perspective on the candidates.
Phase III : Group Exercises ( 20 marks) & Interview (30 marks) : The 3 rd Phase consist of Interview (30 marks) & Group Exercises (20 marks). Candidates will have to score minimum qualifying marks in Phase-III to be considered for final selection.
Final Selection : The candidates will have to qualify both in Phase-II and Phase-III separately. The marks obtained in Main Examination (Phase-II), both in the Objective Test and the Descriptive Test, will be added to the marks obtained in Phase-III for preparing the final merit list. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be added for preparing the final merit list for selection. Marks secured by the candidates in the Phase-II (out of 250 marks) are converted to out of 75 marks and Phase-III scores of candidates (out of 50 marks) are converted to out of 25 marks. The final merit list is arrived at after aggregating (out of 100) converted marks of Phase-II and Phase-III. Selection will be made from the top merit ranked candidates in each category.
(4) How to apply:
Candidates can apply online only from 07.09.2023 to 27.09.2023. No other mode of application will be accepted
(5) Application fees / Intimation charges:
Application Fee will be 750/- for General/ EWS/ OBC candidates and ‘Nil’ for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates.
