IB announces 4987 Security Assistant / Executive posts. These are classified as General Central Service, (Group ‘C’) Non-Gazetted, Non Ministerial posts.
(A) Important Dates :
Online Application : 26.07.2025 to 17.08.2025 (till 23:59 hours).
(B) Eligibility Criteria :
Educational Qualification : Matriculation (10th class pass) or equivalent from a recognized Board of Education
Age Limit (as on 17.08.2025): 18-27 years.
(C) SCHEME OF EXAMINATION :
A three tier selection process -
Online Exam of Objective type MCQs, divided into 5 parts containing 20 questions of 1 mark each on:

The candidate has to appear in Tier-I at one of the 5 centres allotted to him/her out of his/her choice of five cities

Negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer

In order to achieve qualitative selection & recruit the best available talent, there would be cut-off marks (out of 100) in Tier-I exam as under: UR-30, OBC-28, SC/ST-25 & EWS-30

On the basis of their performance & normalization of marks in Tier-I exam, qualified candidates would be shortlisted for Tier-II @ 10 times the number of vacancies, subject to the condition that the candidate should have scored minimum cut-off in Tier-1.

The Tier-II exam is qualifying in nature. The qualifying marks in Tier-II is 20 out of 50
(D) EXAMINATION FEE:
All candidates: Recruitment Processing Charges @ ₹ 550/-
Male candidates of UR, EWS and OBC categories: Examination Fee (₹ 100/-) in addition to Recruitment Processing Charges (₹ 550) i.e. ₹ 650/-
