Punjab and Sind Bank has released the detailed notification for recruitment of 750 Local Bank Officers.
(A) Important Dates :
Online Registration: 20.08.2025 to 04.09.2025
Online Examination: Oct 2025
(B) Important Points:

This post is equivalent to PO Scale I.

Vacancies are in 13 states and are announced state wise.

Candidates can apply for the vacancy of one state only.

Merit list will be drawn state wise.

Selection Procedure: Written Test Screening Personal Interview Final Merit List Proficiency in Local Language Final Selection

Work experience of 18 months or more in Officer cadre in any Public Sector Bank/ Regional Rural Bank on regular basis is a must

Bond Period - 3 Years and Probation - 6 Months

Proficiency in local language - reading, writing and understanding, is a mandatory requirement and a test of knowledge of specified opted local language of the applied State shall be conducted as a part of selection process along with personal interview.
Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language of the applied State as one of the subjects will not be required to undergo the language test.
Final Selection: The combined final scores of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in Online test (70% weightage) and Personal Interview (30% weightage).
(E) Application Fee :
GEN/EWS/OBC: Rs 850
For SC/ST/PwBD Candidates: Rs.100
