IBPS has released the notification for the online examination for Common Recruitment Process for RRBs (RRBs- CWE- XIV) for recruitment of Group “A”-Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B”-Office Assistants (Multipurpose). A total of 28 RRBs are participating in this recruitment process.
The total vacancies announced are 13217 !! This is the highest number of vacancies announced in notification in the last few years
(A) Important Dates :
- Online Registration & Payment of fees: 01.09.2025 to 21.09.2025
- IBPS RRB Officer Scale I - Prelim Exam Dates : 22nd and 23rd November 2025
- IBPS RRB Office Assistants - Prelim Exam Dates: 6th, 7th, 13th and 14th December 2025
- Office Assistants Main Exam Date: 1st February 2026
- PO (Scale I) Main Exam Date: 28th December 2025
- PO (Scale II & III) Single Exam Date: 28th December 2025

(C) Eligibility Criteria :
(I) Age (As on 01.09.2025) :
- Officer Scale- III (Senior Manager) - Above 21 years - Below 40 years
- Officer Scale- II (Manager) - Above 21 years - Below 32 years
- Officer Scale- I (Assistant Manager) - Above 18 years - Below 30 years
- Office Assistant (Multipurpose) - Between 18 years and 28 years
(II) Educational Qualification (As on 21.09.2025) :
- Officer - Graduation for GBO (50% for Scale II) and Graduation / PG in relevant subjects for SO as given in notification. Experience is also required for some posts.
- Office Assistant - Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent; Proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRB and Working knowledge of Computer (Desirable)
(D) ONLINE EXAMINATION STRUCTURE :
The structure of the Examinations which will be conducted online are as follows:
(I) Preliminary Examination (objective) :

- Office Assistant (Multipurpose) - Rs.175/- (Inclusive of GST) for SC/ST/PwBD/ESM/DESM candidates. Rs.850/- (Inclusive of GST) for all others
(F) Final Selection and Interview :
- For the post of Office Assistants (Multipurpose) – Marks obtained only in the online main examination will be considered for final merit listing.
- For the post of Officers Scale I – Marks obtained only in the online main examination will be considered for shortlisting for interview and final merit listing.
- For the post of Officers Scale II (Generalist and Specialist) and Scale III – Marks obtained in the single level online examination will be considered for shortlisting for interview and final merit listing.
