ULSAT is the Law School Admission Test for admission in 3 years LLB, 5 years LLB ( BA LLB, BBA LLB, BCom LLB, BTech LLB), and LLM courses offered by the University Of Petroleum & Energy Studies, Dehradun. The entrance exam is held in CBT mode. The exam contains MCQ type questions. The candidates who qualify in ULSAT have to attend Group discussions and interviews to finally qualify for admission.

The qualifying candidates are given admission in the course of their choice to the UPES School of Law (SOL). A total of 520 seats are available for grabs in the UG law courses.
