vinnayraj : you will take longer time comparatively with more efforts being put in.start with topics you learnt in school mainly from arithmetic such as ratio proportion, profit and loss, simple equations...it is almost like going back to school with one level higher..get your conceptual doubts cleared in the class without hesitation and revise the topic the very next day..lack of familiarity makes it difficult for you to interpret questions initially but once the concepts are clear and solve more and more questions the comfort level will be built..be patient and be willing to work hard..you will eventually get there..all the best..

vinnayraj : dont worry..this happens to most of the students when they take their first aimcat and especially those who take the very first aimcat of the season..multiple reasons can be attributed to this..hardly any portions are covered in the classes,you are yet get accustomed to the test conditions ,you lack match practice , the fear of taking tests looms large and possibly there are a couple of weaker sections..so you need to be patient and with time all these factors will get addressed and resolved..continue steadfastly with your preparation and treat it as a learning experience..

siddhartharora : start with basic fundamental book, then do handouts in classes and retry again at home. then SM with concepts, and then easy to moderate to hard problems. Next is sectional tests on Student Home page. You can take 2 to 3 days for each topic and do not hurry to complete. In case you are not able to solve around 80% of easy or moderate questions, take a step back and revisit the concepts.
