(Chat Transcript)

hi : HI. HOW TO PREPARE FOR PUZZLES
supratim : Please do attend the class . Then start practising from book/study material given to you . Then apply your knowledge in online sectional tests and full length tests.

ann :
krishnakuppachi : Please type your question and submit it

ann :
krishnakuppachi : Hi, please ask your question

ann : HI...HOW TO ATTEND QUESTIONS FROM CRITICAL REASONING
krishnakuppachi : Hope you have attended the critical reasoning classes that were conducted in your batch. Once you have a look at the question, you will be prompted by your mind instantly of an answer. But before marking the same in the exam, mentally revisit the basics class, and see if the answer identified by you follow those rules. If it does, then your answer is more likely to be correct. Else, look at the other options. And practice as many questions as you could from the student login page.

sonu : SIR IN CRITICAL REASONING WHICH TOPICS SHOULD BE ATTEMPTED FIRST IN EXAMINATION
krishnakuppachi : Hi Sonu, in critical reasoning, the easier ones are questions based on assumptions, then move to questions based on conclusions/inferences and then the other patterns

ann : HOW TO ANSWER LATEST CODING DECODING QUESTIONS IN SHORT TIME?
supratim : This questions are not difficult . Slightly different than usual . Please do practise more such type of questions . Speed will improve in 7 days.

ann : HOW TO SOLVE PUZZLES WITH BLOOD RELATION IN CIRCULAR ARRANGEMENT,WHETHER TO SOLVE FAMILY TREE FIRST OR DO SEATING ARRANGEMENT
krishnakuppachi : Ideally, this combination question (BR+Circular) should be your last preference in the reasoning section. However, if you happen to choose to work on this, ideally solving the Family Tree first would help in better arrangement. But, sometimes you will need seating arrangement info to fill the Family tree. So, you first fill the Family tree as much as you can and then switch to seating arrangment and parallely keep filling the pending family tree, based on the arrangement

ann : IN WHICH TOPIC SHOULD WE FOCUSS FOR THE UPCOMING IBPS CLERK MAINS,,WHAT IS THE LATEST TREND?
praveen : Data Sufficiency, input-output, Coding Decoding, Symbol based inequality, Deductions, critical reasoning, Non verbal, Direction sense should be solved first then easy puzzles should be solved. mixed and lengthy puzzles should be solved only if everything else mentioned here is already. All these mentioned topics are currently getting 3-5 questions each in almost every exams.

ann : HOW TO SOLVE MACHINE INPUT-OUTPUT QUESTION EASILY,PLEASE ILLUSTRATE WITH AN EXAMPLE
praveen : please attend Time Input output class or go through Study Material.

dip : SIR I WANT TO KNOW THE PAPER PATTERN FOR RBI ASSISTANT PRE EXAM
supratim : http://www.time4education.com/BankExams/Bank-Exam-Info# Please go through the link

ann : WHAT IS THE BETTER PREFERENTIAL ORDER IN SOLVING PUZZLES?
krishnakuppachi : Ranking/Order based questions (height/weights, floor number wise, etc), Distribution, Linear (Single row), Circular (all facing same direction), Linear (two rows), Circular (different directions), Circular combined with Blood Relations.

sonu : SIR SOLVING PUZZLES TAKING MORE TIME FOR ME CAN U SUGGEST SOME TRICKS HOW TO SOLVE THEM IN SHORT SPAN OF TIME
krishnakuppachi : When you read the conditions given in the puzzles, you should identify definitive conditions. They directly fit into the row or distribution. Fill them first. Then re-read the conditions which are not definitive, in line with the part puzzle already done. Then pick up non-definitive conditions which offer you exactly two options, and draw two puzzles (based on each of these options) and then read the pending conditions which fit either of them. The crux of solving puzzles is a lot of practice. You need to put in more efforts in working on these points while practicing the questions. Hope this tip is helpful in your practice.

ann : TRICKS TO GET ANSWERS FOR DATA SUFFICIENCY
krishnakuppachi : While solving Data Sufficiency, you should keep in mind two points - 1. that you are not actually need to solve the question, you are only identifying whether the data is sufficient to answer or not; 2. You should get the practice of seeing both the statements given independently. This will ease and improve the strike rate. Since these are based on individual topics, a strong understanding of the fundamentals are essential to get improve the accuracy in answering these questions.

sa : SIR CAN U TELL US HOW TO APPROACH QUESTIONS IN QUANT SECTION. TRICKS TO ATTEMPT SI N CI.
supratim : First - Spend 3/4 minute to know the composition of the section & identify the easy questions . Solve easy questions first and then move on to solve difficult ones. But please remember that NO strategy works without knowledge . So practise all Quant chapters from book / study material given to you . Then apply your knowledge in online sectional tests & full length Mock tests.

sonu : SIR TO SCORE MORE MARKS IN REASONING WHICH TOPICS SHOULD BE ATTENDED FIRST IN EXAMINATION
supratim : Coding -Decoding , Deductions . Followed by Input Output , Symbol Based Inequality , Direction sense , Analytical Puzzles etc. Practise all topics .

ann : GOOD ATTEMPTS EXPECTED IN 2016 CLERK MAINS,SECTION WISE AND OVERALL
supratim : Depends on paper difficulty level. Please ensure to answer all easy questions correctly.

ann : HOW TO SOLVE PARA JUMBLED QUESTIONS IN ENGLISH
praveen : First find the starting statement it is the one which introduces the topic then find the last statement it is the one which concludes the topic then for getting the order or remaining statement find the transition words ( words like again, as well, also, besides, likewise, in addition, furthermore, consequently, similarly, otherwise, hence, therefore, subsequently, thus, generally, as a rule, for instantly etc) these will help you to find order. Attend time class of Para jumbles and practice the tricks provided you will be able to solve para jumbles easily which is a very important topic in VA.

sonu : SIR IN NUMBER SERIES QUESTIONS FINDING WRONG NUMBER IN A SERIES IN A SEQUENCE SUPPOSE FIRST NUMBER ITSELF IS WRONG THEN HOW TO IDENTIFY THE PATTERN OF SERIES
krishnakuppachi : Ideally, the approach to a Wrong Number series questions is to identify the right logic for the series. Once you find the right logic throughout the series, you will be able to identify which number does not fit into the series, which could be the first number itself.

sri : SIR HOW TO PLAN A DAY FOR THE EXAMS PREPARTION..?IM CONFUSED WITH QUANT OR REASONING OR ENGLISH OR SSC GK ETC PLEASE HELME OUT
supratim : Please do solve 20 Questions of Quant , Read 2 RC's , Solve 10 FIB questions everyday. Along with that spend 30 minutes to read GK and 1 hour for Reasoning .

ann : HOW MUCH TIME SHOULD WE SPENT ON PUZZLES

sri : HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO DO SSC CGL PREPARATION FOR AN AVERAGE STUDENT SIR..THANKS
krishnakuppachi : It's a rather difficult question to answer, as what constitutes an average student differs. But, given a student can put in 10-12 hours of preparation on a daily basis with assistance in terms of coaching, a period of 45-60 days is a reasonable preparation time. I hope it clarifies.
