jyothi : COULD YOU PLEASE TELL US HOW TO SOLVE SENTENCE REARRANGEMENT?
sumita : After reading the sentences thoroughly, identify the topical or opening sentence. See what sentences can follow that continue with the same theme. Always identify the main theme or the topic.Spot special words like connectives, articles, pronouns and adjectives. These are never found in opening sentences, so this helps. you assign them to a later slot in the paragraph. Above all, try to practice from the SM exercises for a better hold on these questions.

jyothi : HOW TO SOLVE RC??SHOULD WE READ THE PASSAGE FIRST OR QUESTIONS?
sumita : The exam is a time-bound one, and you need to manage your time such that you can give it your best shot. This can only happen if you are quick in both interpreting and answering. First skim through the passage. This will give you an overall rough idea of the topic and supporting thoughts. Then read any one question. Now scan that part of the passage from which this questions has been drawn, and evaluate your choices for the question under consideration.


jyothi : HOW TO CHOOSE THE OPTIONS FOR CLOZE TEST??LIKE SET OF ANTONYMS OR SYNONYMS??IF TWO OR MORE OPTIONS HAVE SAME MEANING?
sumita : If the choices are close, you need to choose the one which suits the given context. Overall reading of the passage helps you to arrive at the right option.

hussain : Yes there are four sections in TIER I of SSC CGLE, each section consists of 25 questions ( 50 marks ), time duration 60 minutes. It's a computer based exam

jyothi : ENGLISH SECTION IS VERY DIFFICULT FOR ME TO CLEAR.COULD YOU PLEASE SUGGEST ME SOME TIPS ?
sumita : Focus on all the question types. Have a regular reading habit. Devote at least two hours exclusively for English practice. Brush up your grammar basics - this will help you identify errors in grammar-based questions. Try to learn vocab from different sources, and not just from the newspaper. Prepare well in advance, and take our online practice tests to have an idea of time-management and other strategies.


jisha : COULD YOU SUGGEST ME A GOOD STUDY MATERIAL THAT I CAN DEPEND FOR G.A SECTION?
hussain : G.A section is very vast, You will not get all the content in one book, You need to refer several books, one book will not fulfill your requirement ( You can refer State/ NCERT books from 6 to 10, Competition Wizard, Lucent G.A Books,Kiran Prakashan Previous Papers )


akshay : BUT SIR IN CHSL NO SECTIONS WERE THERE, ALL QUESTIONS WERE JUMBLED!
hussain : IN CGLE you will find section wise questions ( English, Quat. Reasoning, G.A )
