The overall pattern of the test remained the same as that of the previous year. Totally 80 questions based on Mathematics, English, Reasoning, General Knowledge & Computers were given. The test paper was divided into 2 sections. The first section had 60 questions of 1 mark each, and the second section had 20 questions of 2 marks each. Mathematics: The overall difficulty level of the questions was moderate. A few questions on surds, logarithms, time and work, trigonometry, coordinate geometry were difficult. However about 20 of 29 questions were doable. The break-up is given below:

Logical Reasoning: In this section, one question each from Clocks and Calendars,Letter series,a puzzle and two questions each on Non-verbal reasoning and Venn Diagram were given. These questions were of easy to moderate level of difficulty.
English: Out of 16 questions in English, nine questions were based on Vocabulary of which five were difficult, three were easy and one moderate. The remaining seven questions were based on grammar. The difficulty level of these questions ranged from easy to difficult.
Computers: There were 14 questions from Computers and most of the questions were based on the basic definitions of computer related terms and some abbreviations. The difficulty level of these questions was easy to moderate.
General Knowledge: These questions were based on topics like Geography, History of modern India and Science and Technology. The difficulty level of these questions was moderately easy.
On the whole the level of difficulty of the test paper was moderate. A score of 50 marks and above can be considered good.
The mock tests conducted by T.I.M.E were on the lines of the above paper. T.I.M.E students would have greatly benefited by the study material and class room teaching.
