Instructions to Candidates of JEE (Main) 2014 – Online Mode

To complete registration formalities well before the time candidates are requested to reach the venue at least 30 min. before the examination. The Registration desk will close 5 minutes before the examination. Click Here for Additional Documents to be brought to the Examination Hall.
- NO candidate, under any circumstances, will be allowed to enter the Examination Center after the commencement of the examination and NO Candidate will be allowed to leave the Examination Hall before the conclusion of the test. No candidate can leave his/her seat without special permission of the Superintendent or Invigilator.
- Entry into the examination hall is permitted only with the JEE (Main) 2014 Admit Card.
- Rough sheets will be provided in the examination hall to the candidates for any calculations/writing work. On completion of the test, the candidates must hand over all the rough sheets to the invigilator on duty in the Room/Hall
- Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as instructed by the Centre Superintendent/Invigilators.
- NO baggage/ eatables/ smoking is permitted inside the Examination Centre. Carrying any textual material, printed or written, bits of papers, pager, mobile phone, any electronic device, etc., (except the Admit Card, identity proof and pen) inside the examination hall/room will lead to cancellation of candidature.
- Use of Calculator and Communication Aids: Use of electronic devices like mobile phone, calculator etc. is NOT PERMITTED in JEE (Main) - 2014. Materials like log table, book, notebook, etc. should NOT be brought into the examination hall.
- For any technical assistance, first aid emergency or any other information during the course of examination, the candidates have to approach the Center Superintendent/Invigilator in the room. All cases of unfair means will be dealt with as per rules.
- Sample/ Mock test: A sample/mock test will be available on JEE (Main) website in the month of December 2013 for practice purpose and to give the candidate look and feel of the Computer Based Examination (CBE).
