Number of attempts at JEE (Advanced) - 2014
A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) maximum twice in consecutive years, i.e. once in the year of the Qualifying Examination and next time in the following year.

Candidates who had attempted for their QE in the year 2012 or earlier CANNOT appear in JEE (Advanced) - 2014, even if they qualify in Paper - I of JEE (Main) - 2014.
- Candidates who have taken admission (irrespective of whether or not they are continuing in the respective programmes) or accepted the admission by paying the registration fee at any of the IITs, IT-BHU Varanasi or ISM Dhanbad, are NOT ELIGIBLE to appear in JEE (Advanced) - 2014.
