A passage regarding the impact of technology on people was given. Mostly it highlighted the negative impact on health, environment, longevity, mental and physical development of children, etc. After reading the passage, students had to answer questions like:

A passage regarding begging being a menace in society was given. It highlighted the ill effects of begging like nuisance at traffic signals, violation of human dignity, and ill treatment of children. It blamed the government’s apathy for the prevalence of begging. After reading the passage, students had to answer questions like:

It was a case study on a software company, where a software development team because of some unavoidable reason ended up using finance department's workstations to meet the deadline of a Rs130 million project. Because of this finance department was not be able to transfer salaries to the employees (on salary day). The company had never delayed payment of salary. The employees were angry due to this. - ABC was a cooperative bank operating mostly in rural sector. In the last couple of years, the bank ended up with huge amount of bad debt mostly from farmers. There was a lot of pressure from superiors on the local branch manager in village of Bijpur. Even after repeated legal notices the farmers were not paying the money due to bad monsoon that year. The branch manager decided to take a different course of action to recover the money and employed people to put posters in the village with photographs of defaulters at public places. A few days later, Bhanu, a local farmer whose name and photo figured on the posters, committed suicide.
