Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham or Amrita University is a multi-campus, multi-disciplinary research university in India.
Admissions are open for the academic year 2016 at Amrita Health Sciences Campus, Kochi.
MBBS(offered by School of Medicine), BDS(offered by School of Dentistry):
The MBBS degree is a five and a half year program in Medicine, including a one year internship.
BDS course consists of four years curriculum plus one year compulsory rotating Residential Internship.

Selection is based on the rank obtained in the All India Amrita Entrance Examination conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.

Eligibility:
Should complete the age of 17 years by 31.12.2016 and should not exceed 23 by the said date.
Pass in higher secondary examination or its equivalent in the first attempt with 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology taken together and 60% marks in English separately.
Those who appear for the qualifying examination in March / April 2016 can also apply.
MBBS/BDS Entrance exam syllabus: As per the 10 + 2 examination (CBSE).
Duration: 2 hrs. 30 mins
Type of questions: Objective type, with 4 answer options with only 1 correct answer.
Total Marks – 150. There will be no negative mark for wrong answer.
1 mark for every correct answer.
Paper Pattern:
Physics - 25 q x 1 mark = 25 marks
Chemistry 35 q x 1 mark = 35 marks
Biology/Biotechnology 70 q x 1 mark = 70 marks
English 10 q x 1 mark = 10 marks
General Knowledge 10 q x 1 mark = 10 marks
