AICTE has announced that the online CMAT from now on would be conducted once a year - in January. Common Management Admission Test(CMAT) was being conducted twice by AICTE - in September and in February for admission to post graduate programmes in management in AICTE approved institutes/University Departments.

For the 2016-2017 admissions, CMAT would be held in January 2016.

There are 3500+ AICTE approved B-schools which are expected to take CMAT scores, translating to availability of over 4 lakh seats for a CMAT test-taker. Unlike other management entrance exams of similar nature, CMAT gives you a shot at the premier B-schools of the country such as JBIMS, Sydenham, KJ Somaiya, IMT and GIM among others.
