In the initial mock tests, one should focus on getting only positive marks, i.e. avoid giving wrong answers in an attempt to answer a higher number of questions. If you are able to answer only five questions in the first mock, make sure that those five are correct. If one attempts more questions and get many of them wrong, it only causes demotivation. On the other hand, answer very few questions and get all of them correct, this boosts your confidence.
