renufrancis : Yes, from an interview point of view, taking a year solely to prepare for CAT (after graduating in May 2025) may be considered a gap year, but it’s not an issue as long as you can honestly justify it by saying you focused on CAT preparation. However, keep in mind: You won’t get points for work experience if you're not working during that period. If you can manage a job along with CAT prep, that would be ideal, as it adds value and shows good time management. Many top B-schools do give weightage to work experience during the selection process.

If you want to practice more questions from different areas, you can move on to the Intermediate and Advanced Tests. Also, you’ll be receiving Lot 2 materials (Advanced Practice Materials) from your center in the coming months. Also consider solving Previous year CAT questions.
