lakshmymenon : This is not really ideal, because first of all you do not know what the cut off will be! Percentiles being relative, several factors can sway the cut-off this way or that. Analyse your performance in VARC and identify your problem - is it speed, accuracy or question selection? Then try to refine your strategy. While you may still not score as well as you do in the other sections, you should aim for the highest possible score.
