You can start with a brief narrative of your academic and professional background, where you are from etc. But do not go into unnecessary details that are already in your application form/CV - names of all schools you studied in, names of family members etc. Include some information unique information that will pique their curiosity or impress them - hobbies, activities, future aspirations etc.
