AIEEE Pattern
AIEEE 2011 (Paper-1) was a 3 hour paper with 90
questions – 30 each from mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Every correct
answer carried 4 marks and one negative mark for each incorrect answer. All the
questions were multiple choice questions with 4 choices of which only one was
correct.
In Physics, there were 3 questions with assertion-reasoning type and no
comprehension type. In Mathematics, there were 5 assertion-reasoning type
questions and no comprehension. Chemistry did not have any comprehension based
or assertion reasoning based questions.
Physics was quite difficult, Chemistry can be put in a level from medium to
simple and mathematics was easy.
