Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination 2016 is scheduled to be conducted in the month of April 2016.
Computer Based Test (CBT) - April 17-19, 2016
Pen & Paper Based Test (P&P) - April 23, 2016
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is a University established under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956. The University focuses on higher education and research in the areas of Engineering, Medicine, Management, Science, Education, Mass Communication and Social Work. The University has five campuses at Amritapuri (Kollam), Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Kochi and Mysore.
Amrita Visha Vidyapeetham conducts its Engineering Entrance Examination every year on an all India basis for admission to the 4 year B.Tech Degree programmes offered in the three campuses at Amritapuri (Kollam), Bengaluru and Ettimadai (Coimbatore). Candidates who satisfiy the eligibility criteria will be admitted to the first year of B.Tech programmes through counselling, based on their ranks in the Entrance Examination.

Age - Candidates shall be born on or after 1st July 1995.
Educational Qualification - A pass in 10+2 ( class XII ) or its equivalent securing an aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with not less than 55% marks in each of these three subjects.
( OR )
A three year Diploma in Engineering with minimum 60% marks, awarded by any State Board of Technical Education.
Note: Those who appear for the above examinations in March / April 2016 and expect to secure minimum marks as above, may also apply.
About AEEE 2016:
AEEE - 2016 is conducted in two separate modes
a) Computer Based Test (CBT)
b) Pen & Paper Based Test (P&P)
Candidates can choose either CBT or P&P as per their choice.
Duration of Exam: 2 1/2 hours
Schedule of Examination
Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted on the following dates:

with multiple slots
The allotment of slots / dates will be on first come first served basis. CBT is being conducted in 67 centres
Pen & Paper Based Test (P&P)
It is conducted on 23.04.2016, Saturday
Time: 10 :00 AM to 12:30 PM
It is being conducted in 36 cities
Paper Pattern:
Duration of the Examination is 2 1/2 hours
Objective type questions in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
Four answer choices of which only one is correct/ most appropriate.
Medium of the Exam - English.
Each correct answer - 3 marks
Incorrect answer has a penalty (-1 mark)

Application Fee: Rs. 1000/- for CBT as well as P&P. Application fee once paid will not be refunded.

Engineering payable at Coimbatore.
