NTSE

The written examination for Class X will be in two stages:

  • Stage I examination at the State/UT level will comprise of two parts, namely
    1. Mental Ability Test (MAT)
    2. Scholastic Ability Test (SAT) covering Sciences, Mathematics and Social Sciences.

    Each State/UT will nominate students (as per the their quota) to appear for stage II at National Level.

  • Stage II examination at the National level will comprise two parts, namely

    2. Scholastic Ability Test (SAT) covering Sciences, Mathematics and Social Sciences.

Note:

  • Each right answer is awarded one mark.
  • There will be not negative marks for wrong answers or for unattempted questions.
  • Once the students finish the MAT, the SAT is administered after a break of about 30 minutes.
