NTSE

The written examination for Class X will be in two stages:
- Stage I examination at the State/UT level will comprise of two parts, namely
- Mental Ability Test (MAT)
- Scholastic Ability Test (SAT) covering Sciences, Mathematics and Social Sciences.
- Stage II examination at the National level will comprise two parts, namely
- Mental Ability Test (MAT)
- Scholastic Ability Test (SAT) covering Sciences, Mathematics and Social Sciences.

Note:
- Each right answer is awarded one mark.
- There will be not negative marks for wrong answers or for unattempted questions.
- Once the students finish the MAT, the SAT is administered after a break of about 30 minutes.
