Important Update

- Section B reduction: Only 5 questions in Section B, all compulsory (previously 10 with choice of 5)

- Impact: Enhanced focus on conceptual clarity and numerical application

What Does This Change Mean for You?

The reduction in Section B questions will significantly impact scoring patterns. With no choices offered, students must be well-versed in all topics. Numerical Value Type (NVT) questions in Section B test your ability to apply theoretical knowledge to quantitative problems.

This change encourages:

- Comprehensive preparation, reducing selective studying
- Enhanced problem-solving skills, bridging the gap between theoretical and practical knowledge
- Improved adaptability, reducing stress associated with JEE Advanced preparations
By focusing on application-based questions, you'll develop a deeper understanding of subjects, leading to better performance in JEE Mains and Advanced.

Scoring and Ranking

- Percentile score announced after Session 1
- Rank based on best of two percentile scores after Session 2
- Merely securing a rank doesn't guarantee admission to NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, and IITs
