At Cochin, T.I.M.E. offers GATE coaching in the following five streams of Engineering:

• Civil Engineering,
• Mechanical Engineering,
• Electrical and Electronics Engineering,
• Electronics and Communication Engineering, and
• Computer Science and Engineering.

Types of batches:

The GATE coaching at T.I.M.E. Cochin is offered in two types of batches:

• Weekday batch, and
• Weekend batch.

The weekday batch is scheduled on all weekdays from Monday to Friday. This batch is primarily meant for the previous year pass-out students who wish to dedicate their time preparing for the next year GATE. While some of the students are of repeater students category, there are some who give up their jobs determined to go for their M.Tech. Intensive training sessions are provided on all five days of the week on a 9 a.m. To 4 p.m. basis.

The weekend batch is scheduled on Sundays, select Saturdays and during the vacation time. This batch primarily consists of Final Year B.Tech. Students. However, there are some pre-final year students as well who opt to start their preparations early and join this course. This batch is also quite suitable for working professionals who wish to continue with their job on weekdays. The class timing for this batch is from 9 a.m. To 5 p.m.

Centers:

T.I.M.E., Cochin offers GATE coaching from two of it's branches in the district of Ernakulam: One within the city limits of Cochin located at Kacheripady; and the other at Muvattupuzha center. T.I.M.E., Kacheripady offers both weekday and weekend batches whereas T.I.M.E., Muvattupuzha offers only weekend batches of GATE. The weekend classes at Kacheripady are primarily scheduled on Sundays and the classes at Muvattupuzha are scheduled on Saturdays. In addition to these days as mentioned above, GATE classes are also arranged on select Saturdays and holidays.

Faculty:

T.I.M.E. Cochin has a dedicated team of in-house and external faculty members who have completed their M.Tech./PhD from prestigious institutes in the country like NITs, IITs and IISc. The team is competent of providing broad and deeper understanding of the complex concepts and insight into subjects which are the pre-requisites to a highly competitive examination like GATE. Together with the subject knowledge, students are also guided in specific areas of cracking the GATE questions through quicker and tricky methods. The in-house faculties are available on a full-time basis for providing doubt clarification to the students.

Library:

T.I.M.E. Cochin has an extensive library covering a wide range of subjects in all disciplines. The library caters to the need of graduate students and the faculty members. It has a rich collection of standard text books for immediate and need based use to facilitate selective dissemination of information. A competitive examination reference section is added to the library to cater to the needs of the candidates preparing for various other competitive examinations like IES, RRB and recruitment tests held for various national and state level PSUs in the technical and management areas.
