  1. I am a reserved category MS candidate, I have secured 44% marks in aggregate at Graduation and 49% marks in aggregate at Post Graduation. Am I eligible to appear at MAH-MBA/MMS-CET?

  2. No, you are not eligible. The minimum aggregate score in graduation is 50% in case of general category candidates and 45% in case of backward class category.

  3. I have passed my Graduation in more than one attempt with more than minimum percentage of marks. Am I eligible to appear at MAH-MBA/MMS-CET?

  4. Yes, you are eligible to appear for CET, however your admission will be subject to fulfillment of the eligibility criteria of the University wherein you may get the admission. Candidates are advised to approach eligibility section of the respective University (wherein the candidate is interested in seeking the admission) and get the provisional eligibility certificate issued by the University well before the commencement of the CAP.

  5. I am a Maharashtra State candidate and have appeared for CAT. Is it necessary for me to appear at MAH-MBA/MMS-CET to apply for MBA/MMS course in Maharashtra?

  6. Yes, it is necessary. You are required to register and appear for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET.

  7. I have appeared for CAT. Is it necessary for me to appear at MAH-MBA/MMS-CET?

  8. Those who want to participate in CAP (Centralised Admission Process) rounds based on CAT, CMAT, XAT etc. score need to register for CET and keep a print out of the application with them.

  9. Do I have to register for GD/PI?

  10. No, there is no GD/PI for admissions during A.Y.2019-20.

  11. What is meant by the Cut-off mark in CET?

  12. The cut-off marks in CET is the minimum score, which makes a candidate eligible to seek the admission to MBA/MMS course in the State of Maharashtra. The cut-off mark in MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2019 is non zero positive marks.

  13. Explain how the Merit List is prepared for CAP?

  14. Based on the score obtained in CET, a candidate is given State Rank (Rank among all the Maharashtra candidates), Home University Rank (Rank among all the home university candidates). In case of a reserved category student, let us say an OBC candidate, he/she will get State OBC Rank and Home University OBC Rank apart from the above two ranks. If a candidate applies for All India level seats, he/she will get All India Rank also. There are no reservations in All India level seats.

  15. What is the importance of registration for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET? Is it necessary to register for CET?

  16. Registration for MAH- MBA/MMS-CET is Mandatory for all. Those candidates who want to participate in CAP rounds based on score of CAT, CMAT, ATMA, XAT etc exams, need not appear for the exam. They just need to apply for CET by paying the fee and keep a print out of the application.

  17. Which one of the scores of the MAT exams is considered valid?

  18. For the year 2019-20, the score of the MAT-2019 will be considered for admission to MBA/MMS course through CAP.

  19. When do I need to submit documents? What is the last date of submission of documents?

  20. The documents are required to be submitted during the Stage of Registration for Centralized Admission Process. This stage is tentatively scheduled in May. No documents will be accepted after the last date for the confirmation of the Application of Registration for Centralized Admission Process at ARC. Exact schedule for this activity will be notified.

  21. Who are eligible for admission under J & K Migrant quota?

  22. The following are eligible under this category:

    • Children of citizens, who are displaced from Jammu and Kashmir to any place in India or to safer places in Jammu and Kashmir.
    • Children of officers belonging to IAS, IPS, IFS, children of military and paramilitary forces transferred to Jammu and Kashmir to combat terrorist activities.
    • Children of staff and officers of Jammu and Kashmir police department engaged in fighting terrorism.
    • The number of seats under this quota will be as per policy of the Government.
  23. Which are different Application Forms? What is schedule of filling up the forms?

  24. In order to participate in the CAP, aspiring candidate has to fill in and confirm:

    • Online Application form for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2019 from 10/01/19 to 15/2/19.
