IBPS RRB VI Notification is out

IBPS has released the notification for the online examination for Common Recruitment Process for RRBs (RRBs- CWE-VI) for recruitment of Group "A"-Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B”-Office Assistants (Multipurpose). A total of 56 RRBs are participating in this CWE.

(A) Important Dates :

  • Online Examination – Preliminary Officer Scale-I - 09.09.2017, 10.09.2017 & 16.09.2017 (If required)
  • Online Examination - Office Assistant : 17.09.2017, 23.09.2017 & 24.09.2017 (If required)
  • Online Examination – Main /Single : Officers (I, II & III) – 05.11.2017
  • Online Examination Main Office Assistant - 12.11.2017
  • Online registration window & Payment of fee - 24.07.2017 to 14.08.2017
  • Download of call letters for online examination – Preliminary Officer Scale-I- Aug 2017; Office Assistant – Sep 2017
  • Declaration of Result – Main (For Officers Scale I, II and III): Nov 2017
  • Interviews ( Scale I, II, III) : Dec 2017
  • Provisional Allotment - Jan 2018

(B) Eligibility Criteria :

Age (as on 01-07-2017) :

  • Scale III Officer - Above 21 years and below 40 years
  • Scale II Officer - Above 21 and below 32 years
  • Scale I Officer - Above 18 and below 30
  • Office Assistants - 18 - 28 years

Relaxation in age for reserved category as per government rules.

Education qualification ( As on 14.08.2017 ( As on last date of online registration) :

  • Office Assistants and Scale - I Officer: Degree.
  • Scale III Officer: Degree with 50% marks in aggregate ( 5 Years work Ex.)
  • Scale II Officer - Specialists Officer : Professional qualifications as related to the posts ( 1-2 years work Ex)
  • Scale II Officer - General Banking Officer : Degree with 50% marks in aggregate ( Two years work Ex)

Language Proficiency - ​Candidates who have already studied the language of the State in standard VIII or any level above standard VIII in Government recognized Boards of Education/ School or having any certificate to the effect for standard VIII or any level above standard VIII would be considered proficient in that local language.

Where the candidate does not meet the aforesaid requirement in local language at the time of selection, he will be given a time of six months from the date of joining to acquire the proficiency. This period can be extended by the Boards of RRBs within the framework of the rules and provided that such extension should not be beyond the probation period.​

(C) Application fee details :

  1. Scale I, II and III Officers - Rs 100 for SC/ST/PWD and Rs 600 for others. (2) Office Assistants - Rs 100 for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM and Rs 600 for others

  • FOR THE POST OF OFFICERS SCALE I – MARKS OBTAINED ONLY IN THE MAIN EXAMINATION WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR SHORTLISTING FOR INTERVIEW AND FINAL MERIT LISTING.
  • FOR THE POST OF OFFICERS SCALE II (GENERALIST AND SPECIALIST) AND SCALE III – MARKS OBTAINED ONLY IN THE SINGLE LEVEL EXAMINATION WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR SHORTLISTING FOR INTERVIEW AND FINAL MERIT LISTING
