IBPS has released the notification for CWE Clerks - VI for recruitment of Clerks in 19 Public Sector Banks.

IBPS has made some changes in the scheme of Main Examination. The following points are worth noting.

• Each section of Main Examination is separately timed. There is no change in number of questions and maximum marks allotted when compared to that of IBPS Clerk V.
• Duration of Main Exam is increased to 135 minutes from 120 minutes.
• Tentative number of PO posts is 19243 ( About 22% less than the number announced last year under CWE Clerk V)

MARKS OBTAINED ONLY IN THE MAIN EXAMINATION WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR FINAL MERIT LIST.

2. Eligibility Criteria:
(a) Age(As on 01-08-2016) - Min 20 years and Max 28 Years (Relaxation for reserved categories as per rules)
(b) Min educational qualification (As on 12-09-2016)- Degree with in any discipline from a recognized University.
Note 1: Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.
Note 2: Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.
