IBPS SO 2018 Notification Out ! 1599 Posts !

IBPS has released the detailed notification for conducting the 8th CWE for recruitment of Specialist Officers in 20 Public Sector Banks. IBPS has introduced section wise time limit for the first time in Prelim exam of SO.

(A) Important Dates:

  • Prelim Exam :29.12.2018 and 30.12.2018
  • Main Exam : 27.01.2019
  • Online registration& fee payment : 06.11.2018 - 26.11.2018

  • Download of call letter for Prelim - Dec 2018
  • Download of call letter for Main - Jan 2019
  • Download of call letters for interview February 2019
  • Conduct of interview February 2019
  • Provisional Allotment April 2019

Negative Marking( Prelim and Main) : There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted.

Note : MARKS OBTAINED IN THE ONLINE MAIN EXAMINATION ONLY WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR SHORTLISTING FOR INTERVIEW AND ALSO FOR FINAL MERIT LISTING.

(E) Common Interview :

The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of Online CWE (Main Exam) and interview will be 80:20 respectively

(F)Application Fee :

  • Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
  • Rs. 600 /- for all others
