Finally the result of SSC CGLE Tier I 2014 has seen the light of the day !! The Commission has announced the result on 5th March 2015.

he exam was supposed to be held in April/May 2014, but got postponed due to General Elections. The revised dates for the exam were announced as 19th and 26th Oct 2014. The exam was held on these dates and the official keys of various sets of papers were announced on 6th Dec 2014. At the time when every one was waiting for the result of SSC CGLE Tier I 2014, the exam at few centres in Jaipur and Jodhpur was cancelled and are-exam was ordered. As a result of this mess the result of SSC CGLE TIer I 2014 got delayed and the CGLE -Tier-II Examination, 2014 which was originally scheduled to be held on 24th and 25th January, 2015 was postponed.

SSC CGLE Tier I 2013 exam was also cancelled earlier in 2013 and a re-exam was ordered, not once, but twice at various different centres. centres.

In spite of all the above, there is an increase in the number of candidates who have appeared for SSC CGLE - 2014 because of the big job opportunities in the Govt sector. A whopping 14 lakh+ candidates appeared for CGLE Tier I 2014 and about 1.42 lakh candidates qualified in Tier I for appearing in Tier II.

The cut off is 96.6 for the unreserved category (96 in CGLE Tier I 2013 and 82 in CGLE Tier I 2012). The Commission has also released the list of all the candidates who have qualified.
